Surat City has a very Enthusiastic Clientele for Architecture but there was a Simultaneous Intensity among them about the Qualitative Aspects of Built Environment. This led a group of Concerned professionals to form a trust- Art & Architecture Education & Research Trust with an aim of Creating Awareness among the People about Profession. A Simultaneous Attempt was also made to Start an Educational Institute for future Architects. AAERT and Sarvodaya Sahakari Bank got Attached to Sarvajanik College & the AAERT and Sarvodaya Sahakari Bank Ltd. Faculty of Architecture become one more Addition to the Institute.

    As per the Marks obtained, Students can also get admission through Management Quota in which College gives the advertisement regarding the schedule (Date and Time) for the interview of the students to be conducted in the local news paper. Admission Process is handled by Centralized Admission Committee, L.D. College of Engineering & Technology, Ahmedabad through which the students can get the admission on the basis of Merit Marks secured in H.S.C. in Mathematics + Science Subjects.
