he Department of Mechanical Engineering has experienced, well qualified and dedicated faculty. State-of-art laboratories and workshops form an integral part of the Department. The infrastructure is updated on regular basis. The Department provides congenial environment both to the students and the faculty for ushering their professional competency and technical proficiency. To keep the faculty abreast with latest knowledge in the field they are encouraged to attend seminars, conferences etc. and to present their research work at important conferences. The Department plans to register itself with various leading technical societies. The department organized a national level conference on “Trends in Mechanical Engineering” (TIME-2008) on Feb 8th and Feb 9th 2008.
