The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in 2001 with an intake of 60, and subsequently enhanced to 90 in 2003 and to 120 in 2005. A team of highly qualified seniors run the department of ECE with specializations in Antennas, Communications, Microwave Engineering and signal processing areas. The team comprises Prof .Gandikota Prasad(HOD), one more Professors, one Sr.Asst.Professor, 20 Asst. Professors and 1 Instrumentation Engineer and 3 Technicians. The department has well equipped labs with excellent infrastructure. Various labs in the department are VHDL Lab, Digital IC's Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Communication Lab, Electronic Devices and Circuits Lab, Microwave and Fiber Optic comm. lab and projects lab.
