By 1992, the College was affiliated to Punjab University and the first 20 student were registered for the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery. In 1997, the dental Council of India granted its recognition to the College. This year was significant in yet another way as the first batch of dental student trained from his college moved out with 100% pass and several distinctions, to serve the vast humanity as full fledged dental surgeons. The student intake was raised to 40 admission per year from 1998. affiliation was shifted to the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot in July 1999.
College Hostel is available for both men and women students, in the charge of a Warden Both vegetarian and non- vegetarian meals are available in the Hostel Mess. There is a Recreation Room in the hostel where students can watch televisions. The Students' Council assist the Warden in the smooth running of the Hostel.
