    The Placement Process at MDI aims to match the requirements of the Corporate World with the aspirations of the students thereby facilitating the achievement of synergy between the two. The various Placement Activities undertaken at MDI are described below.

    Hostel Facility
    Students of PGPM, PGP-HR and PGP-IM stay on Campus and are provided with accommodation on twin- sharing basis in Change Masters and Kshitij. There is a separate hostel block for the girl students called Oddessy. Students are required to bring their own PC with LAN card. The rooms are provided with a bed, a study table, a chair, a cupboard and the usual fixtures. The students may bring their own mattress, bed linen, toiletries and locks for almirah and hostel rooms though these are also available in the student run Co-operative Store "Prayas”.

    Admission Process
    MDI Uses Cat for short listing Candidates for all the above programmes. Candidates has to appear for the Common Admission Test (CA) to be conducted by the from 28 November to 7 December 2009. The last date for obtaining CAT Voucher is 1 October , 2009. Foreign NRI Applicants can apply to submitting valid GMAT scores 9taken no later Octorber 2009) NRI applicants residing in India daring July. December 2009 will have to appear in CAT. GOI Rules will be followed related to admission of these categories of candidates. * Final selection process will consider performance in the CAT/GMAT and subsequent Group Discussion and Personal Interview. * Candidates must apply separately for NMP (EPGPM). *IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
