The program gives advanced knowledge of programming languages, computer graphics, network & communication technology, client server and distributed database systems. Students will be introduced to software development through software engineering and project management techniques. In the third and fourth semesters of MCA, students will be exposed to programming languages, database management techniques, networking and software management techniques, communication techniques along with algorithmic theories. After successful completion of the first four semesters of MCA, if a student wishes to discontinue the course, he/she shall be awarded the master of science in computer science [MScCS].
