To meet the growing need for qualified hospital and health care professionals, Apollo Institute of Hospital Administration (AIHA) under the aegis of Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation has started a Master's programme in Hospital Management since 1994. The MHM programme is a two years, full time, on-campus programme, affiliated to the Osmania University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The programme is aimed at developing trained hospital and health care managers with requisite skills in planning and implementing management techniques; diagnosing and solving management problems; and acquiring consultancy skills, with a view to preparing them to manage hospitals and health care institutions both in the public and the private sectors, and to meet the rising demand for quality health care.
