The department of CSE & IT has established its significance over the last few years through its several activities and achievements. The department has a very good track record of placements every year with students of pre-final and final years selected in multiple renowned software houses. The Campus Connect Programme of Infosys was started by the department from August 2007 where selected pre-final and final year B.Tech students of all the disciplines successfully completed the programme. The faculties of the department also actively participated in the Career Development Programme (CDP) of the college to assist the students in qualifying the recruitment tests of the prospective employers
