The students of BMSIT are trained for placements from the first semester itself in the areas like Personality development, GD, Interviews, Aptitude, Communication etc. Many leading companies visit BMSIT for recruitment every year. BMSIT also provides placement opportunities to the students in association with BMSCE Placement cell. Over 80 reputed and leading companies including Microsoft, ABB, IBM, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture etc. have recruited our students. Already 93% of the eligible students passing out in the 2011 batch have been placed. The remaining students are expected to be placed shortly.

State Level Common Entrance Test ( PGCET) conducted by KEA or As per Govt. of Karnataka letter ED 267TEC 2007 dated 14-02-2008 and VTU circular no. VTU/ACA/OS-CIR/2007-08/2332 dated 28-02-2008, there is provision to admit Diploma holders (both Karnataka & Non Karnataka) to 1st year B.E course subject to availability of vacancies (i.e after filling vacant seats surrendered by CET to Management).Admission will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in Diploma, provided he/she fulfils all other criteria for admission to B.E course.
