A full fledged Training & Placement Cell is working towards better opportunities for its students and bridges the gap between prospective employer and candidate. Mar Athanasius College of Engineering considers Training and Placement (TAP) of every student as its principal duty. One of the foremost responsibilities of TAP is to motivate and prepare students for successful performance in higher exams like GATE, GRE, GMAT and TOFEL and also in interviews and subsequent interactions with employers.

Academic merits of financially poor students are motivated by giving scholarships by various Alumni chapters of MACE. 1.Qatar Alumni Chapter – Rs.9000 for six students 2.Kuwait Chapter - Rs. 6000 per semester for one student 3.Chennai Chapter - Rs. 1000 for one student. 4.MEANA (Malayalam engineers Association North America)

All candidates seeking admission to B-Tech and MCA course should write Kerala Entrance Examination conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Govt.of Kerala which is usually held in the month of April and May respectively every year. The applications for the Entrance examinations are usually processed in the month of January – February every year. Candidates seeking admission in merit seats should participate centralized on-line counseling organized by the CEE after the results of Entrance Examination is published.
