This programme aims to develop an understanding of the theories and practices in corporate finance, financial decision-making, financial analysis and financial markets and institutions followed in the corporate world. An extensive practical knowledge is imparted in the application of econometric and mathematical techniques in managerial and financial decision making. The programme is designed to develop analytical abilities in the students who aspire to pursue finance as their career and want to build capabilities in the financial services sector.
The main objective of the programme is to enable students in the acquisition of knowledge and skills in financial planning, decision-making and control. It helps them in developing an analytical bent of mind, necessary for creation of innovative financial instruments and products. The course is specifically targeted at:
Familiarizing with the financial system and regulatory framework in Financial Services Sector in general; as well as Banking and insurance sector
