The Department has well-furnished and well-equipped class rooms, Seminar hall, Computer Lab and Library. Students make use of the Centralised browsing center and digital library facility to refer to various knowledgeable sources and courseware. The students’ activities include participation and paper presentation at Seminars, Symposiums, Industrial Visits, Extra-curricular activities, Cultural activities, etc. They also visit industries to experience the practical world in order to support their theoretical knowledge. As part of the evaluation, the faculty members assess the student’s academic performance by means of conducting regular class tests & examinations, giving assignments and giving them an opportunity to take seminars on topics related to the syllabus. The Department comprises of qualified and dedicated full-time faculty members, who consistently work towards the development of the Department. The regular lectures are supplemented by guest lectures given by experts invited from industries.
