Course Details
The department of chemistry was established in 1979 along with the institution. It has well qualified and massive experienced faculty with all necessary infrastructure. The department aims at chennalizing the basic science ideas of students towards the hardcore engineering subjects. It also carry out basic & applied research work department has got 07 teaching staff and 03 supporting staff. Most of the staff members are doctorates; young staff members are actively involved in research and pursuing Ph.D degree. Totally 56 research papers are published & few are communicated by the faculty members of the department in highly reputed National/ International Journals. More than 20 papers were presented in National/International conferences.

Admission Process
Admission will be made in accordance with the instructions received from Ministry of Higher Education, Government of Karnataka and VTU from time to time. Seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Physically challenged candidates, children of defense personnel and other categories as per the guidelines issued by Govt. of Karnataka.
A limited number of admissions are offered to NRI & Management candidates in accordance with the rules applicable for such admission, issued from time to time by Govt. of Karnataka.
