Course Details
M.C.A had its inception in January 1997 as the first Post Graduate course in our college with strength of 30 students of which 15 scored First Class in University Examination. In second batch strength has increased to 45 of which 32 scored First Class. As AICTE was fully satisfied with the infrastructure and academic conditions, an additional strength of 30 was sanctioned and each batch has 60 students from 2000-2006 onwards. The 2001 batch is the 1 st batch of Anna University . AICTE sanctioned the strength to 120 from 2007-2008 onwards. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accredits M.C.A in the year 2008.

Hostel Facility
There are separate hostels for Boys and Girls in the campus. The Girls Hostel accommodates 450 girls. There are around 850 students in the boys hostel. The respective messes attached to the hostels provide quality and nutritious veg & non-veg food in a hygienic environment. A recreation room with TV and provisions for indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carom are available.
