National Health Policy (NHP 2002) recognized the need for training of nurses in various specialty courses to function effectively in the health care team. In this direction Indian Nursing Council has prepared one year Post Basic Diploma Programmes in nursing to provide competent nursing care to the patients in the specialized Departments in the hospital and in the community.

Application along with prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs.500/- made through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, payable at Chennai. The form can be obtained in person/through post/may be downloaded from the University website. If the form is downloaded, the completed form must be accompanied by a D.D. as per the above instruction.
