Founded in 2000, the Department of Pharmacy at SRMS CET has cultivated a reputation for quality and innovative scholarship in professional education and pharmaceutical sciences. It is offering Bachelor in Pharmacy from UP Technical University. The Department of Pharmacy has played major roles in the transformation of pharmacy from a professional practice orientation to one that includes major basic and clinical research activities. The mission of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is to educate students in pharmacy practice and the pharmaceutical sciences and to provide services to the community at large based upon this knowledge. The mission recognizes pharmaceutical care as a mode of pharmacy practice within the health care team in which the patient is empowered to achieve the desired outcomes of drug and related therapy. The mission also recognizes that research in the broad area of the clinical and basic pharmaceutical sciences is necessary to create and maintain a body of knowledge needed for professional education, health care delivery and the advancement of science.
