The integrated Ph D program consists of a flexible course work, an internship-type laboratory training (wherein ample opportunities exist for the candidate to acquire basic experimental skills and familiarity with advanced techniques for research), research project to demonstrate attainment of a high degree of scientific ability followed by advanced research leading to Ph D thesis on a specific topic.
B.E./B.Tech Students with outstanding academic record in the Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical, Biotechnology, Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, and Electrical & Electronics with an aptitude towards advanced scientific and technological research are eligible to apply. A minimum of 80% marks or a CGPA of 8.0 is the primary prerequisite. Candidates who are appearing for the final examination this year can also apply.
