The PGDPMX (Focused on Oil & Gas sector) is based on part campus & part off-campus learning model. Graduates having minimum work-experience of 3 years in Oil & Gas or allied sectors as on 30th June 2012 are eligible to apply. Admission shall be offered as per the admission process that shall be aimed at assessing the aptitude, preparedness and motivation of a candidate to pursue the PGDPM-X programme.

    Placement Assistance
    The placement process for the fifth batch of MBA (Energy and Infrastructure) of School of Petroleum Management (SPM), Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) started on 5th December, 2011 and currently SPM is towards the completion of the process. 24 companies notable, amongst them, Ernst & Young, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Accenture, Infraline Energy Research and Information Services, Sabarmati Gas Ltd., Mahanagar Gas Ltd., Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. Ltd., Yes Bank, IL & FS, AF-Mercados EMI, BDO Consulting, Empire Industries, Jubilant Energy, Mahindra Satyam, Suzlon, Sun Edison, M7 Technologies, GETCO, Deep Industries Anup Industries and Infosys Ltd. have participated so far in the Placement 2011-12.

    Educational Loan
    If required, education loan facility shall be made available to the eligible students. Oriental Bank of Commerce has agreed to provide study loans at preferred rate of interest to the students of SPM including PGDPM-X participants. SPM is also in process to tie up with other banks for the financing of the programme tuition fee and other expenses.
    Hostel Facility
    In order to cater to the residential requirements of the academic programme, School of Petroleum Management provides seperate hostel facilities for girls & boys inside the campus.
