It was due to the missionary and visionary Zeal coupled with concerted efforts of Rt.Rev. William Moses, the former Bishop of the Diocese, this institution came into existance in 1998-99 and ever since then it is making rapid strides to blossom into a full-fledged Engineering Institution. Now under the dynamic leadership of Rt.Rev. Dr. M.Dorai, the incumbent Bishop and Chairman, the institution is making an all out effort to achieve excellence in all spheres of its activities.
Dr.S.J.Jeyapaulan, the principal of this esteemed institution, right from its inception, has got vast teaching, research and administrative experience and has been instrumental in starting and building up of a number of Engineering Institutions including this. He has widely travelled abroad and has exposure to the running of Technical Institution in Europe. The college has a dedicated team of staff with academic and industrial background to impart technical Industrial orientation.
