Course Details
DA-IICT offers a unique four-year undergraduate Program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Technology (Information and Communication Technology). The Program aims to prepare students to either pursue a professional career immediately after graduation or to continue with postgraduate studies either in India or abroad. The B.Tech. Program also enhances freedom of choice by offering a large number and variety of elective courses. Since technological courses are introduced from the very first semester, the student has the necessary background to specialize and delve deeper into specific sub-areas of knowledge within ICT in the later part of the Program. Elective courses constitute the bulk of the curriculum in the third and fourth years of study.

Eligibility
The minimum academic qualification for admission is a pass in the 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2009 are also eligible to apply.

Scholarship
DA-IICT offers two categories of scholarships for B Tech students. One is based on the merit and the other based on merit-cum-means. In each category, up to five students are awarded scholarships equivalent to full tuition fees.

Admission Process
Admission to the 2009 Batch of B Tech (ICT) program will be based on the All India Rank of AIEEE 2009 (All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2009), which is being conducted by CBSE on 26 April 2009. Therefore, only candidates who are appearing for AIEEE 2009 can apply for this program of DA-IICT.
The short-listed candidates, based on the All India Ranking of AIEEE 2009, will be called for counselling at Gandhinagar and will be offered admission in order of their merit (based on the All India Ranking of AIEEE 2009).
