The Institute was established by the Government of Punjab in 1995 with the name Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Engineering & Technology as a tribute to the great martyr Shaheed Bhagat Singh. In the academic year 2011-12, it was upgraded to the status of a technical campus and rechristened as Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozepur. The Society was formed in the year 2003, The main goal of the trust is providing educational facilities in different fields particularly to the economically and socially backward part of the society so far unprovided and to the advantage of those who due to their limited resources can not afford going to distant places to avail professional and training in such field.
