S.D. College of Engineering & Technology has been promoting the cause of technical education in western U.P. since 1997. In this short span of 11 years SDCET has made it presence felt in imparting quality education and thereby enhancing suitable technical manpower for more than 400 industrial unit of Meerut – Roorkee –Haridwar industrial belet and another industries in the country. SDCET was established by the Sanatan Dharma College Association, Muzaffarnagar a pioneer registered educational society. The society has been paying a vital role in promoting the cause of education in this region. At present it is running 15 prestigious technical and non technical educational institutions, which include a medical institute, a college of Pharmacy, Engineering College, Polytechnic, Degree College, two inter College, yoga institute and several others. The society has also established a management institute duly approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow.
