SDCET has an active centralized placement cell . It has a placements committee which is a students body and acts as link between the efforts of the students and the college authorities decisions relating to the companies visiting the campus for recruitment are broadly based upon parameters such as job description, growth prospects, track record of the company remuneration packages and the number of students the company intends to select. Several reputed companies and organization including Indian army under UES scheme have come to campus for direct recruitment of the students. The college organizes quiz, Mock tests, group discussions, mock personal interviews round the year to acclimatize the students for future placement challenges.

The hostel situated in the campus is equipped with all modern amenities like round the clock power and water supply, internet facility, common room with all facilities like a colour T V SEVERAL Magazines and newspapers. Mess facility with hygienic conditions, sprawling dinning hall and toilets and modern bathrooms in sufficient numbers have been provided for the comfort and convenience of the students.

Candidate seeking admission have to submit the prescribed application to the coordinator admission cell, SDCET, Muzaffarnagar along with the relevant documents with in the stipulated time limit , the prescribed application forms issued along with the prospectus by the office of the college.
