The Beginning
The impact of the rapid pace of transformation in business and industry has triggered a metamorphosis in executive mindsets. This has made it imperative for graduates, aspiring businesspersons and professionals to equip themselves with the latest know-how and bets practices. Versatile management training is indispensable as it provides the requisite skill sets to withstand the emerging challenges of the corporate world and successfully leverage career opportunities.
In order to meet the growing demand for management education, the Mandal, with the help of handsome donation from Narsee Monjee Educational Trust, established Narsee Monjee Institute of Management and Higher Studies in 1981. The institute commenced its activities with starting of Masters Degree Programme in Management Studies.
Through this Institute, SVKM hopes to contribute to strengthening the corporate foundation by imparting training in the latest techniques and know-how. The Institute renews its commitment to produce well-trained professionals who can take on the challenges and become modern day business managers.
