The Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce at NMIMS is one of the youngest schools in the NMIMS Deemed-to-be-University’s arsenal. It aims at imparting quality undergraduate business/management education following the respected and time-honoured traditions of NMIMS in the field of graduate management education.
The School of Commerce first opened its doors to an incoming batch in 2007. The next three years saw initiatives on several fronts.
The greatest benefit of being a private educational institution with the full support of the parent trust that has been at the forefront of providing quality education for more than three quarters of a century is the accumulated experience and wisdom, thus allowing the School to leapfrog across the time it takes most of its peers to stablise themselves.
ASMSOC has had visits from several foreign institutions for collaborative programs/student exchanges, which have gone away impressed by the school’s pedagogical approach to undergraduate education. ASMSOC is translating these deliberations into firm commitments that will benefit the school in the long run.
