Central University of Haryana is a Central University established under the Central Universities Act, 2009 of the Parliament. It is one of the 15 Central Universities established by MHRD, GoI under the XIth Five Year Plan (2007-12). The University is fully funded by the UGC.
The Permanent Campus of the University is to be situated in 488 acres of land at Jant-Pali Villages, Mahendragarh district of Haryana. Currently CUH is running its academic operations from the temporary.......
The University holds the distinction of being the first Women University in North India.The first Academic Session of the University commenced in August 2007 and since then the University has progressed by leaps and bounds. The University, already recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 became the quickest University to get recognition under Section 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956.
