1968 - Mr. T.R. Pachamuthu started the Florence Nightingale Primary School, the cornerstone of the SRM group of educational institutions. He also founded the Valliammai Society in honour of his mother Mrs. R. Late Sh.Gopal Sharma, a great visionary and a pioneer in quality education, laid the foundation of M.V.N. School in April 1983 with a handful of students. Since then , it has grown from strength to strength, drawing a motley group of people to its vortex.
