The R.V.Teachers College was founded in the year 1951, due to the foresight and vision of its founder secretary Late M.C.Shivananda Sharma. It was the first private teachers college to be started in the state of Mysore, now Karnataka, by Rashtreeya Shikshana Samithi. Later the Samithi was converted into a Trust.
The foundation stone of the college was laid by the then Maharaja of Mysore, Sri.Jayachamaraja Wodeyar. He blessed the college on that day and wished it all success........
Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, (Deemed to be University), with its headquarters in Prasanthi Nilayam (Andhra Pradesh) in India, is a visible manifestation of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Babas vision of education for human transformation. The Institute was recognised as a Deemed to be University by the Government of India in 1981.
