The University of Mumbai (known earlier as University of Bombay) is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India. It was established in 1857 consequent upon "Woods Education Dispatch", and it is one amongst the first three Universities in India.

Pimpri-Chinchwad Education Trust was established by Late. Shri. S. B. Patil in year 1990 to provide technical education and to serve the needs of society. The trust has made a humble beginning by starting a polytechnic in the year 1990 and Engineering College in 1999. In this span of time the trust has gained remarkable achievements not only in academics but also in social and cultural activities. The trust also started with MBA Program under its Engineering College in the year 2008.

The SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS) was promoted by SIES in 1995 specifically to cater to the growing need of management education in India. It is the prime constituent of its academic complex at Nerul. Over a period of time, SIESCOMS has been catering to the needs of various segments of management education aspirants.

PBS AcademyTM was established in February 1999 in Pune, India with an objective to impart the quality and practice oriented management training, development and consultancy. The first batch of MBA passed out in the year 2001 and the graduates happened to make their impact fill in the corporate world. Keeping in line with its mission objective of building a global learning community, the academy started its operations vis--vis Executive education in Singapore and Malaysia in the year 2003.......
