Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology, Kolkata (GCECT-K) (formerly College of Ceramic Technology), was established in the Year 1941, by Professor Sasadhar Ray, an eminent educationist of that time with the objective of imparting knowledge and training for developing skilled technical manpower for serving the Ceramic and Allied Industries.
