The IITB-Monash Research Academy, based in Mumbai, India is an exciting partnership between the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Monash University two of the worlds leading educational and research institutions. Together IITB and Monash are taking a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary research that can effectively deliver high impact, integrated solutions to complex research problems for industry, government and the broader research community.

At VIT, semester pattern is followed. An academic year consists of two semesters. The Fall (Odd) Semester begins in June and the Winter (Even) Semester in December. The academic schedule mentioned in the academic calendar will be strictly followed.

Shobhit Unversity goes beyond the established standards and aims to create a conducive, enabling academic climate to facilitate integration of the younger generation in to logic of the present system and to develop educational means by which youth deal critically and creatively with reality and discover how to participate in transforming to a better world.
